I strive to make my photo shoots FUN and relaxed. I want to capture the true personality of you and your fiancé’ by talking, laughing and getting to know each other. I want you to look at your photos and say “wow, that is so us! So, come relaxed and ready to have fun. It’s not too often that you get to dress up and have a photo shoot so I want you to be excited about it! 🙂 Also, don’t worry about posing or how to stand etc… That’s my job and I will pose you and guide you to how I vision the photograph. Your only job is to have fun and be yourself. I want you to interact with your fiancé’ just as you always do. In a way, I kind of want you to ignore me. I want you to goof off, make faces, cuddle, laugh, play and be excited with your Fiancé’. It’s all about having fun and being in love!
What should we wear?
I recommend keeping it simple and comfortable.
Neutral, light (creams, whites, greys or pastel tones) work best
Stay away from the busy patterns for this type of session. Stay away from prominent logos or writing on clothing.
The most important part of what you wear is that you feel like yourself.
Make sure that your outfit is easy to move around in and fits you well. The better you feel in your clothes, the more relaxed and 'yourself' you will be during your shoot, which will result in you looking your best in your pictures
I love to guide my client in ‘what to wear’, so send me a photo of what you have selected, and I will be more than happy to help
What should we bring along?
No shoot is complete without at least one prop.
However, the props shouldn't be dominating the engagement shoot - it's still about 2 people in love!
So what props can make an engagement shoot fun? Where to start .
- Save the date cards can be a "Thank You" or "Save The Date" sign.
- Bring along funky sunglasses or hats
- Balloons (blue and pink) or just one BIG balloon to make a statement
- If you play an instrument bring it with or anything else that is personal for the couple
- ohh and don't forget your ring
